The Trinbago Collection: 2005
The Trinbago Collection: 2005 is a collection of poems (by yours truly) that covers a broad range of themes – life and death, romance, dreams, joy and suffering, dream homes and much more. The pieces are very personal, perhaps especially because 2005 was the year in which I (sadly) lost my father. My later work is not as coloured by my personal experiences, so the poetry collections from my earlier writing seasons (especially between 2001 and 2006) offer intimate insight into my thoughts and the things that concern and drive me. This book is not illustrated, but the poems are vivid enough to paint very colourfully across the imagination of readers.
