Cocoa, Chai, Mai Tai & Java is a beautiful BLM (Black Lives Matter) collection that also happens to include bits of India, Southeast Asia and Polynesia. The book is designed to focus mainly on the visual, but there are portions of text here and there, including some poetry. This collection sings of the beauty of Black (and Brown) and also celebrates our achievements, but it also laments many of the challenges that Black people have faced over centuries. All of the images are presented in the order in which they were created.
