What languages would you recommend that people learn?

 I always say, “Do whatever you feel you like” because diversity really does make the world go round. Everyone doesn’t have to study the same languages. That said, though, I would encourage people to learn Mandarin (for obvious global reasons). It’s far simpler than most people realize, which is half the beauty of the language.
