Once Upon a Time...
This heartwarming image is a portion of one of the illustrations in my English-Spanish book A Poetry Calendar: Trinbago. I have warm childhood memories of romping in Tobago with my cousins as we played the day away at the beach. August vacation was always a fun time! I have a vague recollection of my whole family going on a glass-bottom boat ride out to The Nylon Pool – a shallow spot in the middle of the sea.
